Forestville Elementary School Addition and Renovation included the addition of the new administration core, main entrance, library and academic classrooms. A new kiss-and-ride entrance was added to the south side of the
school. The existing building was completely renovated, including all MEP and Life Safety systems. The exterior envelope received new doors, exterior windows, and door canopies. Minor exterior masonry repairs were also
made around the existing façade. The interior of the existing building was renovated as well and included new floor finishes, paint, ceiling tiles and framing, interior doors, renovated toilet facilities, plumbing system, mechanical system, fire alarm and fire protection system, electrical systems and security systems. Forestville also received two new community-learning pods that serve as a gathering point for small-group instruction and collaborative learning.
